The First Mosul Conference on Mental Health After Liberation serves as a scientific and professional platform to discuss research related to the mental health situation in the city of Mosul and communities affected by conflicts, with a focus on the transition from the effects of trauma to sustainable community recovery through education. The conference aims to highlight collective psychological trauma, post-conflict disorders, and the conditions of vulnerable groups especially children, adolescents, and survivors from affected minorities while also addressing social challenges related to stigma and reintegration. Additionally, the conference seeks to emphasize the role of education and modern clinical and therapeutic approaches in supporting psychological recovery, strengthening community cohesion, and building peace in the post-liberation phase.
اهداف المؤتمر
١. إثراء المعرفة البحثية حول الصدمة النفسية في سياقات ما بعد النزاع واشكالها الفردية والجماعية وابعادها الثقافية في المجتمعات.
٢. تعزيز دور المؤسسات التعليمية في دعم التعافي المجتمعي عبر تطوير البرامج الداعمة
للصحة النفسية.
٣. تسليط الضوء على المقاربات العلاجية المعاصرة في معالجة اثار النزاع مثل العلاج المعرفي السلوكي والعلاج الاسري والجماعي.
٤. تسليط الضوء على احتياجات الفئات الهشة والمتأثرة بالنزاع ولا سيما الاطفال والنساء الناجيات من العنف والعمل على تعزيز العدالة النفسية لهم.

تمثل رؤية مؤتمر علم النفس السريري الى ان يكون مرجعاً علمياً رائداً في فهم ومعالجة آثار الصدمات النفسية وان يسهم في بناء نموذج وطني للتعافي النفسي والمجتمعي قائم على البحث العلمي والممارسات السريرية الرصينة ودور التعليم في اعادة بناء الانسان وتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي والسلام المستدام في مرحلة ما بعد النزاع.
Conference Mission
يسعى مؤتمر علم النفس السريري الى توفير منصة علمية لدراسة الصدمات النفسية واستعراض فعالية أساليب العلاج النفسي وتعميق فهم استراتيجيات التعافي على المستويين الفردي والجماعي.

Conference Participation Requirements
Provided that the research has not been published or accepted for publication either inside or outside Iraq
That the research adds new scientific knowledge in its field of specialization
To be included within the announced conference themes
The research will be peer-reviewed by specialized experts to determine its suitability for publication and will not be returned to the author, whether it is accepted for publication or not
The research papers should be submitted in printed form using Word software, with Simplified Arabic font for Arabic text and Times New Roman font for English text, size 14 for the main text and size 12 for footnotes
A brief academic CV should be attached with the research
